Editorial policy

AccountMoves is an independent record of agency account moves in Australia. It was founded by Matt Robinson, a former agency CEO who no longer works for or advises any agency. Any advisory or consulting role will be disclosed on this page.

What we publish

Facts only: which brand appointed, retained or reviewed which agency, in which discipline, when, and who else pitched. We do not publish opinion that favours any side.

Sources

We record facts from public trade press reports (Mumbrella, B&T, Campaign Brief and others), company announcements and AusTender. Every record links to its source. We never copy article text, headlines in bulk or images, and we write every summary in our own words. Quotes are short paraphrases with a link to the original. Confidence is marked "confirmed" (stated by the brand or agency) or "reported" (reported by a trade outlet).

Tips

We take tips from anyone. A tip is not published until it is confirmed by a public source or by the brand or agency.

Sponsors

Sponsors never influence records, scores or rankings. Sponsored content is always labelled.

Automation

Scripts flag likely moves from news feeds for a person to check. Nothing appears on the site until a person has approved it.
